What do you get for the man who has everything, including a killer discography, a couple of sexual assault accusations, a sprawling ranch teetering on foreclosure, and a button nose that often looks unbuttoned?

At 50, the guy should do a kick ass unplugged concert with MTV.
He would be back on the map in 2 seconds.

Toosano, I completely agree with you. All the notoriety aside, there will never be another Michael Jackson! It would take him less than two seconds to draw us back into his music world. He's an amazing performer, better than anyone who has ever come before and after him!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MICHAEL...AND MANY, MANY MORE!
So true, Toosano.
MIcheal Jackson is one of the greatest entertainers of his generation.
It's a shame that even after being acquitted of the charges brought against him and the reputation of his accusers brought into serious doubt some people continue to beleive that he has committed a crime against the children he loves and who loves him.
We believe in you. Give us more of your talent.
I wanna rock with you, MJ!

I agree he was one of the better entertainers of the 80s. It seems entertainers of today copy some part of his dancing or singing styles (Justin Timberlake and Alien Ant Farm to name a few).
Michael will never be back on the map. HE IS SO DONE!!!!!!!!! EVER SINCE HE STARTED TRYING TO BE A PETER PAN LOOK ALIKE AND MOLESTING CHILDREN (i mean who does not believe in their hearts that he was not doing that, only an idiot would believe that he wasn't). A grown man in bed with children (that are NOT theirs, would immediately be found guilty). He's not mentally challenged or something, he's a man (well to some). Anyway, most of his music sucked anyway!!

This guy is toast. All of these teen idols only had thier fans while the teens were in their teens. Th long lasting music groups, dudes, or dudettes were there at the majic moment of the music business, and still get out the fans today. MJ did some pretty good stuff in his day, but his insistance that he was The King of Pop was truly the end of the game. You are who you are as declared by your fans, not by your own ego, publisists, and handlers. You are old MJ, just go away!!

I'm not a "music expert" but I think he needs to remain in whatever other country he's living in (which I assume he is or was) since his reputation has been so tarnished over the years. I actually have nothing against him but I do think (for now anyway) he's better living somewhere where few people recognize him still. On the same token, if I were him... I might visit the U.S. anyway either for business or seeing the family... just wouldn't stay for more than a couple of weeks or so. I also think he needs to remain in therapy (which I'm assuming he's in for all the various and obvious reasons.) I suppose I could see him singing again, although some would suggest he mainly work behind the "scenes". He should also continue doing charity work.. (Not) doing the exact same thing like he was before... having sick children come over to his place. Not a good idea obviously... but doing charity or volunteer work of other kinds. : )

Happy Birthday Mr. Jackson! Let all of your dreams will come true ! :)
P.S.: for some of you guys: you should show some respect for this man. He has changed my life, showed me the better way of living and I owe him one. And I'm not the only one. So , please , get rid of the prejudices.
So you decided to start sharing your bed with children and playing Mr. Potato head with your face?

Mr. Jackson is a very talented man, but I certainly would never buy his music again. In my heart I truly believe that he is a child molester, and therefore I wouldn't want to finance his lifestyle.
As far as I'm concerned, and this is my opinion only, he is a poor little boy who never grew up, who got too much fame too soon, and who feels the world owes him a living. If I never hear another word about him, it would be too soon.
Oh, and one other thing - back in the 1970's-80's, he wanted to be known as the "white Diana Ross," going so far as telling someone (I forget whom), "call me Miss Ross." That in itself is weird. Had he not tried to remake himself into what he is today (and I don't know what that is), I think he'd probably be in a better position in his life than he is.

Panther - pretty sad that a musician literally "changed your life"! I loved listening to his music and watching his video's when MTV first came out. You couldn't help but like it, but now... forget him.
He's turned himself into some kind of circus act that people love to gawk at, and he has no idea why!!! Geez, just look at his face - if you could call it that. It - he - is disgusting now. He should have left enough alone after his Thriller album and would probably be even more popular than he already is, and he would have deserved it because back then it would have been about the music, not the "sleeping with boys", and all the other accusations he's been accused of lately - and the main reasons why people are still enthralled by him.
God help his children, here's hoping they don't turn out like him!
OMG... I plum forgot about the children that he has!!! Those children SHOULD be proud to call him Dad but, " Michael Jackson is my Dad " ??? I dunno about that going well with other children on the playground of life. 'Mums' should be the word instead kiddos !!
This article sounded like a pipe dream written by a big fan. While I've never been a fan myself, I've always acknowledged Jackson's talents. But that's history. Face it, the guy's career is over. Has been for a while. He WILL end up a Howard Hughes type---staying in bed in a dark room, drawn curtains, and watching endless Disney cartoons.

Why does he have to make a come back? Why can't he retire? Regular people are allowed to retire so why can't celebrities? His music career was brilliant, and his classics are still favorites. I think most people are happy to enjoy his music from stereos, radios, and ipods these days. For me to see him in concert just reminds me of how bad he looks now and how crazy his last 10+ years have been. I'd rather remember the Michael of the past. You know, the Michael that was black and had a nose?

What's left for Michael Jackson????
Nothing in my opinion...he should sell the Beatles songs to Paul and retire to Thailand where he can play with little boys legally.
You cannot legally molest children anywhere. It is against the law to have sexual relations with children in Thailand, and Viet Nam jailed the Briton Gary Glitter when he got caught doing just that. Thailand arrests offenders who are known to have abused children. No nation officially sanctions pedophilia.
50? Why is it that a 50 year old child molester seems even creepier than a 45 year old one??
Why would anyone want to admire or participate in futhuring this guys career??....do we all forget the Brashir interview??....his almost confessional answers....CMON!!! 40+ yr old men DONT SLEEP WITH LITTLE BOYS!!! ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY"RE NOT THEIR OWN KIDS!!!!!!...not to mention the buy off of the other family.....if they were just money hunting....why didnt he fight them with all his money and legal experts....BECAUSE HE WAS GUILTY!!...anyone else without his influence would still be in prison
(if the other inmates hadnt taken care of you by now)....I'll bet we havent heard the last of Michael yet...but I'll bet it will be for a more current child molestation charge that he wont wiggle out of....just like OJ...when it looks, walks and quacks like a duck....it probably is one.....theres been too much evidence to just blindly turn our heads.....I'd like to see a serious psychological examination done on his children ....just like the courts would have oredered without question to any normal citizen.....
Maybe the destruction of his nasal passages, his cheek implants, his chin implants, and his skin treatments have actually left him without a singing voice. Perhaps he's way too frail to dance now. I guess he could write songs, but is he still relevant in any way? What would he write about? It would just be too awful to see him sing "Beat It" now in a live venue.
Perhaps he should just gracefully fade out of the public eye completely, instead of weirdly surfacing every once in a while.
I think we'll probably see a Howard Hughes kind of descent.
Bashir coaxed Michael out of hiding ALREADY and, like a snake gaining entrance to Michael's lair, proceeded to [try] and ruin a sensitive, talented man. Unfortunately, most people listened ONLY to what Bashir SAID and the media circus after that- accusing Michael of sleeping in his bed WITH one (which the media made into numerous) particular boy. Well, I listened to the interview and the tapes of the interview and Michael clearly said several times that he (Michael) slept on the floor and at times in another room so the boy could experience (at the boy's request) sleeping in Michael Jackson's bed. Never did either the boy or Michael EVER say they were IN THE SAME BED TOGETHER. Bashir came up with that one and even stated he had to DO something about it- if you don't believe me- watch and LISTEN to the interview again. As soon as Bashir went for blood, the boy's family decided to follow suit- which was clearly brought out in the trial. The media had a field day and lots of people like to believe what they hear and read in the media- as evidenced by most of the statements above (No, you say? Then where did you GET your information, exactly?) - opinions formed only by what is read in the media. It worked for Bashir- made him famous, but didn't work so well for the mother of the boy. The police investigated everything dry and tore everything apart (of Michael's) looking for evidence (they wanted to "get" Michael, too) but nothing of consequence was found- because Michael was telling the truth and was consequently acquitted. If Michael WAS guilty, he would now be in prison for many years- the investigators would make sure of that. NOT GUILTY- which means he was NOT sleeping in bed with little boys- but many people insist on flouting the media sickness Bashir started by calling Michael a pedophile and other choice things, even saying "How can anyone believe he is NOT guilty?" Well, it was PROVED in court. That's why. How can YOU go on believing something PROVED untrue? Many people condemn Michael (trying to prove his guilt) by his appearance. I thought this was AMERICA- where being different and eccentric was accepted- free to be what you want. It is not a crime to be different- why try and make it so? Many of the vituperative voices are just plain hostility fired by the media. (if someone SAID it, then it must be so and I can shout about it as much as I want because it makes me feel like I'm a good person). This feeds the decay in our society- look deeper before spouting anger... Michael is not the only one- I worked in Hollywood many years and saw this very thing happen to other clients. It's no wonder Michael does not want to come out of hiding- AGAIN... another Bashir may be lurking. But he will... and he will have a HIT song and be back in the fans hearts again. And this time, the media may think twice before betraying Michael again.
HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY MICHAEL. THANK YOU FOR THE MANY YEARS OF EXCELLANT MUSIC. MAY YOU HAVE MANY, MANY MORE.

He has the money to hire the best producers, etc.? I'm not sure about that. He DOES have a bit of pull in the industry...the best producers, etc. would orchestrate a comeback album for FREE, so long as they get credit.
But bottom line, he's sooooooo creepy.
What has really been proven on the other hand the Vatican and their catholic so called priest have fondled more children, go after the priest and the Catholic church, Micheal is your way of saving grace rather than going after the Roman church which after all is the Catholic church, in the past allowed to kill their children and have young boys fondle them, and they would fondle them back,"touch lovingly". It's all sick but Micheal isn't the source, go after the real bad guys, the ones that ask you to pray with them, the priest at your church. I wouldn't let my kids near a Catholic Church for anything, would you?

Thank you.
I am always amazed at the way people like Michael Jackson behave. With all the money he has made (hundreds of millions) and all of the incredibly wise business decisions he has made (e.g., buying the Beatles' song rights and other similar deals), why does he surround himself with people who won't tell him the truth? He dresses up for a court appearance like he just woke up--robe and all! Can't someone tell him that's just not the way to do things? I am reasonably certain that he is an intelligent and creative person, and perhaps to the majority of us he seems a bit "odd" in his overall behavior, but his talent certainly transcends the norm. His knowledge of the music industry could extend beyond his inner circle; he could be a mentor-type personality to other young musicians (like Quincy Jones' input helped him (Michael) and his career); he could do limited appearances on television and discuss all of the idiosyncracies that most of us cannot figure out (his nose--as mentioned in the article; his skin color and its apparent transformation over the years; his different childhood and the impact it has had on the way he behaves today; etc.). Let's get the truth about Michael Jackson out in the open so he can get back to doing what he has done so well over the years. We'll appreciate his talents all the more if he lets us into the world he has crafted. His children don't need to cover their heads in scarfs. What exactly is this guy afraid of?
Why does the world need a Michael Jackson comeback?? SERIOUSLY? Just because he sold 30 million copies of one record? That was 25 years ago! What he needs is to disappear completely.
This poor, tragic, deluded man was groomed from childhood to treat every waking moment of his entire existence like one big show-biz number. He shows up in court in full stage regalia and performs a dance for the gathered throngs?? Did he know it wasn't just another performance in front of long-departed fans?
The best thing he could possibly do for himself is disappear completely. Be anonymous, learn about life. Stop craving the adoration of strangers 24/7, because they are mostly gone now. LET IT GO!

I think that Michael should just hide away, dream about all of his past little boyfriends and BEAT IT!
God help his two "sons."
